Training your ears is a highly underrated skill that most people don't focus on enough, but one common misconception I see over and over is that relative pitch is a lesser version of perfect pitch. The truth is, though, that perfect pitch and relative pitch are two totally different areas of ear training and you can develop both of them. Hope this helps!
