Video quality comparison between composite, S-Video, and RGB from a NES.
An ordinary NES can only output composite or RF video, but with viletim's NESRGB kit, S-Video and 15KHz RGB is possible (as well as component video with an additional kit). There are also HDMI kits available.
★ Note that there are some slight brightness/level differences between each signal, partially because I didn't match all of my XRGB profiles too precisely. S-Video also has some abnormal noise, which may just be an issue with my system.
