How To Upload Videos On YouTube From a Phone With Thumbnails (2021) is an updated video from my previous video since app updates have been made it is super easy to put a video on YouTube from your phone
I made this video using an Android phone . The steps to publish a video to YouTube should be similar on iPhone
In order to post video on YouTube from phone you will need the most updated version of YouTube studio and the YouTube app. If you don’t already have the most updated version of YouTube, Open your app store and search for YouTube. Tap on YouTube scroll down to see what version you have. I currently have version 15.47.37. Once you verify you have the most updated version
Open your YouTube app
On the bottom in the middle click the plus sign click upload a video
Choose the video you want to upload
Chose the video you want to upload
Crop the video to your liking you can resize it from the front or back
Next create a title
Add a description
Next you’ll need to choose private for now that way you will be able to add your thumbnail later
If you want to add a location you can do that here
If you have a playlist you can add your video to the playlist here.
Go back and look to the top right for a magic wand icon this allows you to change the color of the video
Further up on the right click next and then choose if the video is made for kids or not and the next option is to choose if your video is restricted to 18yrs and older and click upload. Next we are going to add tags and the thumbnail Once you upload your video to your YouTube studio app. If you don't have it you can get it from the play store.
If you don't see the video that you just uploaded you can simply refresh the page.
If your video is still processing.. Just give it some time.. In the meantime you can add your tags
Choose your video category
Choose license and ownership rights
And you can choose to allow comments distribution option or delete the video from YouTube if you decide you don’t want to post it go
Slide back over to basic and click the pencil icon under basic info
Click custom thumbnail to the bottom left
Then you can select the picture you want to use as thumbnail
And click save to the top right
Click on your video
Then to the top right click the top to edit monetization and publish your video
Click on private and choose public to show your video. This is just an example video so I actually won’t do this step .
Then click on monetization, click on , then choose your ad types.
When you are all done with your settings click on save
