You can still verify your own or your clients’ GMB listings using postcard.
Google may not send the postcard to every single address though – so it’s good to have another Google My Business instant verification method that is not predicated on Google sending postcards which may or may not arrive.
I thought I’d also share my extract GMB strategy on how I go about choosing locations and optimizing GMB listings.
The first thing you need to decide on is whether you go down the PPL/CPA path or start a lead agency.
It’s advisable to have a business model in place before you put any money into this, do we agree?
So, in case you go down the CPA/PPL route, I recommend getting approved on AT LEAST 2 cpa networks before building any listings.
You can use Offervault to find several cpa networks that have the kind of offers you’re looking for.
If you’re a lead agency then you should do some research and determine some categories that will give you a high payout per lead.
How do you know how much a business may pay for a qualified lead?
Open Google’s Keyword Planner to see how much advertisers pay per click. Many businesses pay per click to drive traffic and spend a lot more to get a lead than what they would pay for your Google My Business traffic.
If the suggested bid for a keyword is $10 and we assume that it takes 10 clicks to get a lead, then it costs a business $100 to generate a lead.
So, you can easily charge $50 knowing that you undercut Google by 50% and give your clients a much better price at the same time. It’s a win-win situation.
