Frontpoint Glass Break Sensor Installation Tips
Intruders know your home's doors aren't the only way into your home, and so should you. That's why it's important to provide an extra layer of protection for your windows with Frontpoint Glass Break Sensors. Our wireless sensors use pattern-recognition technology to detect the sound of breaking glass, and when that happens, they'll instantly alert your Frontpoint security system and local emergency responders.
Installation is easy and takes just a few seconds. Place your Glass Break Sensors between 4 and 20 feet from the windows you want to monitor. They can be placed on the ceiling, opposite wall or adjacent wall—just not on the same wall as the windows to avoid false alarms. To test that it's working properly, clap in front of the sensor and you'll see the red light flicker.
PRO TIP: You can protect multiple windows with one Glass Break Sensor by placing it in a central location.
