Capture one vs Lightroom - Sony Tethering
There are many reasons I left LR to start using COP and the main one was tethering! To this date Adobe do not have a direct tethering option for Sony users! With the boom of Sony shooters over the last few years its crazy to think that if you want ti tether to LR you need to download a 3rd party piece of software that allows your sony camera to talk to LR!
Its not even a real tether solution more like an auto import/export where the Sony software imports to a selected folder and LR then imports it from that folder which is very taxing on your system and very buggy!
As you can see COP is plug and play to get working, mainly because it is truly designed for the professional photographer! Try it yourself to see!
