In this video, I go over the simple steps for connecting your Xbox One controller to an iPhone. In order to connect to an iPhone, you need to ensure your iPhone has iOS 13 or above.
Once you have your controller and your iPhone. Push the Xbox button on your controller to turn it on. Then at the top of the controller, there is a small button that you need to push and hold. After a few seconds, the controller will start quickly blinking white. This means that it is open to be paired via bluetooth.
On your iPhone, go into your settings. Click on Bluetooth, then make sure your bluetooth is enabled at the top of the menu. After a few seconds, the Xbox One wireless controller should show up under Other Devices. Click on the Xbox One controller. The controller will then pair to your iPhone.
You're now free to use the controller for any controller-enabled games on your iPhone.
If you want to disconnect the control, you can navigate to your control panel, hold down the bluetooth button, then hold down the bluetooth button again to open up the device option. If you click on the Xbox One Wireless controller, it will disconnect.
If you want to forget the device completely, navigate back to the bluetooth settings in your settings app where you can view the bluetooth devices. Next to Xbox One Wireless Controller, click on the I and then select the option to Forget This Device.
That's how you connect and use your Xbox One Controller with an iPhone. Please drop any feedback or additional tips in the comments below.
