In August, 1973, the Smurl family moved into a house in West Pittston, Pennsylvania that they claimed was haunted by a demon. One family member was allegedly pushed down the stairs while another was held suspended in mid air by the malevolent force. The case was even investigated by famed demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren, who supposedly witnessed several paranormal events in the house.
