Welcome to Smart Technologies. The last disaster we experienced reminded us bitterly that our country is in the earthquake zone. As much as I can, I continue to create informative content about the technological measures that you can take in advance against natural disasters. In the past weeks, I have shared the settings that need to be made on mobile phones, the applications that need to be installed, and most importantly, how an earthquake kit can be prepared.
This week, we will talk about Radios, which are never interrupted even in natural disasters, due to their wide range, unlicensed models, free talk without the need for a license or annual payment, and the use of radio waves. Thus, radios, which used to be mostly preferred by nature sports, hunting or site management, have now become life-saving alternatives due to the collapsed GSM infrastructure in natural disasters.
