Do you want to send full-quality photos to your friends or clients without using email or WhatsApp? In this video, I show you the complete process of uploading photos to Google Drive and generating a shareable link that anyone can open.
I will cover how to do this on your Mobile Phone (iPhone/Android) and your Computer. I also explain why you should create a "Folder" first, so you only have to share one link instead of twenty!
In this video, I cover:
The Workflow: Creating a folder to keep your album organized.
Uploading: How to select multiple photos from your gallery and upload them at once.
Permissions: The crucial step to change "Restricted" to "Anyone with the link" so your friends don't get an error.
Sharing: How to copy the link and send it via text, email, or WhatsApp.
Steps to Upload & Share (Mobile App):
Open the Google Drive App.
Tap the + (Plus) icon and select Folder. Name it (e.g., "Trip Photos").
Open the new folder.
Tap + again and select Upload Photos and Videos.
Select all the images you want and tap Upload.
Once finished, go back and tap the Three Dots (...) next to the Folder.
Tap Manage Access Change to Anyone with the link.
Tap the Link Icon (top right) to copy it!
Steps for Computer:
Go to drive.google.com.
Click New Folder.
Open the folder and drag-and-drop your photos in.
Go back, right-click the folder, and select Share Share.
Set access to Anyone with the link and copy!
