The 8080 was revolutionary for its day, but from a hardware perspective, it was a beast. the 8085 simplified many of the timing, clock, status aspects as well as adding the SID, SOD, and four additional hardware interrupts. On top of all that, the 8085 ran from a single 5V power supply. This video is a review of the primarily external hardware differences between the two microcomputers.
