Let's explore how to embed maps into your webpage using Hostinger's website builder:
Step One: Open your Hostinger website builder.
Step Two: In the editor, access the 'Add elements' panel on the left side.
Step Three: From the panel, select the Map element.
Step Four: Drag and drop the Map element to the preferred location on your website.
Step Five: Click on the map element to see options like edit, duplicate, hide, delete, and resize.
Step Six: To input a specific location, 📍 click 'Edit map' and insert the preferred address, which you can copy from Google Maps. Alternatively, you can also insert a dedicated map section into your website.
For businesses with multiple locations:
Create the map using Google My Maps by clicking 'Create a new map', giving it a name, description, and choosing its appearance.
Insert your address in the search bar and place a marker on the preferred area, clicking 'Add to map' to include more addresses.
To embed the map on your website, first make it publicly visible by clicking 'Share', adjusting visibility settings, and then clicking 'Done'.
Finally, get the embed code by clicking the ellipsis button at the top of the settings window and selecting 'Embed on my site'. Copy this code and paste it into your website using the embed code element. You can resize the map or change width and height numbers in the code within the embed code element.
