Hey. It's time to change the piston on my KTM. After the previous replacement, he drove 75 motorcycle hours. There were no obvious signs of opening the engine - except for the knock of the piston skirt when shifting. Decided not to delay and change the piston right away.
I took the cylinder to the engine specialist for honing. After honing, they measured the cylinder and the size became 54.02 mm
After looking at the manual, I came to the conclusion that I need to look for a group C piston. With a size of 53.97. Since it was the right size and the previous piston was group B.
The piston came from Wossner.
Vertex gaskets.
Everything went perfectly during assembly.
Now my horse is back in action.
