Making a cherry mx style keycap on the Monoprice Maker Select V2 may be pushing it. This printer isn't exactly known for quality miniatures but I gave it a try anyway and learned a few thing along the way about support structures and the extent of the limits of printing models this small.
While the final print wasn't bad I probably wouldn't recommend it on with this printer. So my next project will be something a little bit larger or adding some of the numerous mods available to improve the functionality of this printer.
Google / Trimble Sketchup and Cura came through for me again. It was a lot easier this time since I built the model in mm from the start and importing was no problem.
I will ask you guys what you want to see next? Want to see a specific model to print or see how well a particular mod works? Leave a comment!
