The winch was purchased in the summer of 2019, but we didn't get around to road testing until 2021. Modifications were made to the snowmobile itself to connect the winch to the snowmobile. A power outlet was installed on the battery cover.
We were towing a Yamaha Venture snowmobile out of a hole; we couldn't get it stuck, and we didn't want to damage the CVT. The T-Max ATV PRO winch scored 4 out of 5, and we were convinced it could pull a snowmobile or ATV out of any moving object. However, two issues emerged during operation. The lack of control buttons on the winch itself was inconvenient. There were some confusing aspects to the winch's operation. Questions remain. We pulled a snowmobile out of the snow with a portable electric winch. We're dragging a snowball. Everything works out.
