Vmware: vSphere 5: VM Auto -start -stop Settings Configuration
VSphere POF (Proof of Familiarity) for configuring Virtual Machine Startup/Shutdown settings.
Not certain why there was duplicates of the two modified virtual machines listed, but after rebuilding the esxi host and the virtual machines from scratch the problem appeared to go away. Just kidding! I just restarted the vsphere client and all was right.
