Can (or should) I be an English teacher?
I'm sharing this "reflection" that arose from comments claiming that a degree in languages or education is NECESSARY to be a teacher.
While it's true that teacher training and experience are important, a degree in the field doesn't always provide them. I also discuss the difference between a degree and a career, and why I don't think it's beneficial to limit ourselves based on what a title says.
