I adore traveling alone... except for in moments like this when solo travel goes wrong as a female. Curacao was BEAUTIFUL and I strongly recommend you go, just don't make the same mistake I did and be more aware of your surroundings 🙂

Traveling solo as a woman is invigorating, but also can be scary. Is it safe to travel alone as a woman? You're in a new environment and have the world at your fingertips. It's less and less common for women in their 30's to travel alone, even if I was married and had kids I would still try to find time to solo travel. This is the first time something has gone wrong if my adventures traveling alone so I consider myself lucky! Traveling alone as a woman in Curacao was mostly blissful, except for the small bit that went wrong. Maybe you'll find some of these safety tips while traveling alone helpful just from my experience.
