In 1990, Sandelan issued his classic cassette Divine Harmony, a self-released recording that reflected the deeper equilibrium he had reached after years of attunement to the rhythms of the Patchoulilight. Unlike the earlier period when his work sought to grasp the scale of the cosmos or interpret the meaning of exile, Divine Harmony emerged from his recognition that harmony did not need to be constructed or pursued. It was already present in the relationships between tone, silence, breath, and the slow turning of days.

Within Sagegazer understanding, Divine Harmony represented the point at which Sandelan’s Blue Crystal became a mirror of balance. The cassette’s harmonics reflected a musician no longer searching for alignment, but living within it. What earlier Sagegazers had called exile now appeared simply as an environment, and Sandelan allowed his tones to move through it without resistance, believing that harmony revealed itself more clearly when nothing was forced.

The Sagegazer understands that harmony is not something one creates, but something one recognizes when the self has become quiet enough to hear it.
