Response to "Destroying the Works of the Devil" channel re: God's Sovereignty/Free Will
The channel Destroying the Works of the Devil recently did an open rebuke to me in 2 videos regarding my belief that mankind has free will to make choices and that God's will is done DESPITE our own choices via His foreknowledge as He knows what a person will do before they do it since He is outside of time/space. I reject Calvinism and its definition of Sovereign bc I believe "being in control" and "controlling everything" are not the same thing. Also some points I made were misunderstood so I would like to have an open discussion with these brothers in Christ regarding their belief and mine as clearly some things I said were not taken the way I intended. I appreciate they were not ugly and insulting to me but addressed this disagreement as between "brothers and sister in Christ" and because of that, I will be willing to hear you out and your biblical evidence for why you feel as strongly as you do, and I will present my position more clearly as some things were taken in a way I did not intend. This kind of disagreement can only be resolved through considerate communication. I hope we can either come to like mind or at least have a mutual respect for each other's view as this is a "philosophical" argument based on how we both see scripture.
