Mark Niederhauser's Unique Martial Arts
I received this email from Mark Niederhauser, who is an aspiring martial arts actor...he asked me to share this video:
Hello,
I just read the the story about Robert Downey Jr. being spotted in Wilmington. My name is Mark Niederhauser. I am a background actor and martial artist in South Florida. I've submitted and am registered with the casting company handling extras casting for 'Iron Man'. When I submitted, I promoted the fact that I am a martial artist, hoping that this skill will be needed for the film.
I know that Mr. Downey studies martial arts and I wanted to get my art in front of him, if I'm cast. I teach martial arts at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. This past November I was asked to train Jack Black and Scott Speedman for a project in L.A.. The art that I teach/train is unlike any and this is the reason that people in the industry are drawn to it. Recently, I did a demo for some of the N.Y. Mets baseball players (R.A. Dickey & Mike Pelfrey to name a few). In addition, on May 12th I will be doing a seminar for the Marine Corps, here in Port St. Lucie.
I don't know if this could be a viable story, or if it would ruin my changes of getting cast for the movie, but I would welcome the opportunity to be able to communicate with someone about the possibilities.
