No bridge of ANY type can sustain the force of impact coming from a 100,000 ton cargo ship. It's impossible. Look at the now collapsed Francis Scott Key bridge up in the immediate Baltimore area. If it can happen over there, it can happen ANYWHERE. Deepest condolences go out to those that have lost their loved ones in that horrifying tragic accident there. Please take the advice from a content creator who received his undergraduate degree in civil engineering.
