How to Blur Objects in Final Cut Pro | 2 Quick ways to blur faces or objects! // Today I'm walking you through one way of blurring objects in Final Cut Pro X. If you want to learn how to blur moving objects or blur still images I've got you covered. Learning how to blur objects in videos comes in handy when you need to add a blur effect to potentially private information or when you need to blur out a face in a video.
I'm certainly not saying these are the "officially correct" ways to do it, but these are 2 ways to do it. You can always play around with opactiy and keyframes inside of FCP as well. It's much easier in FCPX than iMovie in my own opinion!
Next up, we'll be taking it up a notch and using keyframes to move the blur effect and keep it in motion. This is a very basic introduction to key-framing. Full video tutorial about keyframes coming soon!
