Flashing the Mac Pro 5,1's firmware is pretty straight-forward but there's a few minor gotchas. This video shows step-by-step how to get the Mac Pro 5,1 to the latest (and most likely final) firmware version,144.0.0.0.0.
Video captured off of the Firmware updated machine is 1080p upscaled to 4k, I apologize to the 4k peeps for that but it is what it is. I also should have mentioned I clicked the shut down computer button from the Mojave installer to start the firmware update sequence.

I doubt there's many people still looking to a video tutorial for the cMPs but flashing the firmware always seems to be an issue. Jay's "Turning a 2009 4,1 Mac Pro into a 2010/2012 5,1 Mac Pro – 2021 Edition" is a great article and I had recorded. this before I saw him post it and almost didn't bother finishing this video after seeing it. See if you can spot the typo in this video.
