Creating a C Program for YouTube Livestreaming with FFmpeg: Part 2
Welcome back to our video series on creating a program in the C programming language for livestreaming on YouTube using FFmpeg. In this episode, we continue our journey by exploring the next steps in our development process.
If you watched the previous video, you learned about setting up the development environment and organizing files in directories. Now, we delve deeper into the implementation details. Specifically, we focus on capturing a stream from FFmpeg through a FIFO pipe on a Linux system and utilizing the rtmplib library to stream the content to YouTube.
During the demonstration, we also cover the installation of "pipe viewer" (PV), a program that allows us to monitor the data rate through the FIFO pipe. By analyzing the buffering and data flow, we aim to optimize the performance of our program.
