Creating an Evil Overlord, the Classic Fantasy Villain - Worldbuilding 101
Hey, I'm the Worldbuilding Sage! My aim is to teach you certain worldbuilding techniques to build a setting for your book or Pen and Paper Campaign (no matter if Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder or other games).
In this video I show you how to take the classic Evil Overlord Villain trope in fantasy and make it interesting. The real world has many examples of... more than evil leaders and organizations, and so does fiction, that come close to the trope and its aesthetics and vibes. And of course, the most important part are their motivations. But not in the way you might expect at first. And of course, at the end of the video we create a villain, an EVIL OVERLORD together.
