Channel Intro
Hi, I am Tom, amateur radio call sigh N8FDY. This video is my channel introduction. My first project will be comparing 27 digital multimeters. I will be comparing three groups of multimeters: entry level (6,000 count), intermediate level (10,000 to 20,000 count) and high end (50,000 count and higher) digital multimeters for use in hobby electronic project primarily related to amateur radio.
I am not a professional, I am a hobbyist. This video is not sponsored, I bought these multimeters with my own money. I only use and test the multimeters in CAT I and CAT II environments. I do not have a way to review or test the safety of these meters. I leave the CAT III and CAT IV environments to trained and licensed professional. It may seem like I am a Fluke fan boy, but I recognize there flaws along with their advantages. There may be unintended mistakes and/or error in this video.
