Clearing Engine Codes | VW GTI MK6 | DIY
I show codes P2177 & P2188 but say P1277 & P1288. P2177 & P2188 are the codes.
I recently purchased a used car with high mileage from the dealership (yes, I paid more than I should have). It has a few modifications done to it and it also has a few engine codes. The dealership told me the check engine light was on because the aftermarket intake was messing with the MAF sensor. As I found out, this was not entirely the case.
If you have other advice for what to keep an eye out for on the MK6 GTI I would really appreciate your comments.
