Follow the Shepherd [By Brenda Walsh]
Life's journey is full of twists and turns, and without a guide we are sure to be lost. However, we don't have to go through this difficult and challenging maze alone, because we have a Savior who will guide us each step of the way. Jesus calls upon us to follow and place our feet in His footsteps so that we will never make a wrong turn. We can claim this beautiful promise in Psalm 23.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside still water
he restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through through the valley of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
You rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me, in the presence of my enemies
You anoint my head with oil
My cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life.
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
The only directions in life we need are follow the Good Shepherd!
