Project Impact 1.3 will soon be released on ADRIs patreon. Its in the polishing phase right now and still has some quirks but it wont be long until you get your hands on it. It has several new improvements.
From ADRIs preview blog:
"timed blocking bashes - stuns the enemy and allows you to perform hellblade moves
timed blocking power attacks push/knock enemies back, this creates more space for you and not make the battleground feel like a mosh put
successfully interrupting attacks sets up the enemy to be juggled
successfully interrupting bashes changes the direction the enemies are facing allowing you to hit them from behind"
Imo all these changes make the combat MUCH more fluid as you can see in this showcase. Its a lot of fun trying to juggle or corner enemies to get them stun locked.
Also we have a major version upgrade for Vanguard Bash Behaviors. The npc behaviors were completely rebalanced to imrove the feel of the bashing. Get the 2.0 here:

PI, ABR and Vanguard will work much closer together now from 1.3 on as ABR and Vanguard are able to send events to PI. You can still use the mods as standalone but the best result is to use them all together.

Disable Recoil from Maxsu for SkyrimPlatform. Turns off the recoil from blocking. I use this together with the recoil mod from ADRI.
