Mozilla Firefox - How to fix Adobe Shockwave Flash version 11 (Crashing, Unresponsive, busy, stopped
All Windows XP USERS:
AutoUpdateDisable=1
SilentAutoUpdateEnable=0
ProtectedMode=0
Open Notepad, copy and paste the above and save it as mms.cfg into C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
All Windows 7 USERS:
For those of you with a 64 bit OS, you have to go to Windows\sysWOW64\Macromed\ and edit the mms.cfg file there
you have to create a copy of the mms.cfg file and write in it the ProtectedMode=0, then delete the original file and place this in Macromed/Flash it should work
For those who get an access denied thing. Right click on the mms.cfg file, then click on properties. Go the the securities tab, Click and highlight Users (Your system name\users)
Below that would be an option : To change permissions, click Edit : Click on edit
A pop up come, again Click and highlight Users (Your system name\users)
Below it would be box headlining permission for users: Tick mark on full control under Allow.
Press ok, apply if prompted and then ok again. Make the changes and save the file..
