German national minorities or who are the Sorbs?
German National Minorities, or Who Are the Sorbs?
Welcome to my new column, "A Minute of Education." There are a few national minorities in Germany, one of which is the Sorbs. National minorities in Germany have their own, typically very interesting, histories. The history of the Sorbs dates back to ancient times, when they were in close contact with German tribes. In this video, you'll learn who the Sorbs are and what kind of people they are. What rights do German minorities, or Sorbs, have? In general, I'll give a brief introduction to the German Sorbs. The Sorbs themselves are considered a Slavic people in Germany, which is particularly interesting to us.
