How to Animate Shapes in Adobe Premiere Pro
Here's how to animate shapes in Premiere Pro.
Step 1:
Select the Rectangle Tool and draw a shape in the center of your preview screen.
Step 2:
In Shape Properties, disable Fill and enable Stroke. Adjust stroke width as needed.
Step 3:
Go to Effects panel and search for "Clock Wipe".
Step 4:
Apply the Clock Wipe effect to the beginning of your shape layer.
Step 5:
Adjust animation duration by dragging the effect's handle in the timeline.
Step 6:
To move the animated shape: first nest the shape layer, then reposition.
Your shape animation is now complete. Nesting ensures the Clock Wipe effect moves with your shape when repositioned.
