Getting Started guides are awful! How we can get better at onboarding in technical scenarios.
How often have you used a getting started guide for a tool you were planning to use and, at the end, still felt like you had no idea what you were doing?
To me, getting started guides feel more like a marketing pitch (“so easy your cat can do it!”) than an actual piece of documentation. In this video I discuss how we can improve on that.
