The Art of Dreamworks Captain Underpants - the first epic movie | 4K
The Art of Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is an essential visual journey for every animation fan. Ramin Zahed provides a masterclass in character design and world-building through this stunning layout showcase from Titan Books. This ain't just your regular animated movie; it's a hilarious family comedy that brings the best-selling book series by Dave Pilkey to life.
Imagine two mischievous troublemakers, George and Harold, pulling off the ultimate prank by hypnotizing their school principal into becoming Captain Underpants – a ridiculously enthusiastic, not-so-bright superhero. Now, picture this madcap adventure with the voices of Ed Helms, Kevin Hart, Thomas Middleditch, Nick Kroll, and a bunch of other awesome talents.
And guess what? This ain't your ordinary artbook either. This hardcover gem, released back in 2017 by titanbooks, is a treasure trove of concept artwork and the untold stories behind the movie's creation.
But here's the cherry on top: the book starts with a foreword that's not just written but also illustrated in comic strip style by none other than Dav Pilkey himself. As soon as you crack open "The Art of Captain Underpants" and see that comic strip greeting you, you'll know you're in for an absolute treat. It's like a golden ticket to the inner workings of a side-splitting cinematic adventure.
