Study Your Target, and POUNCE
This overtake was one of my best, because it was so out of character for me - I’m more of an out-braker. Credit to the other car Pepe Fuentes whose good defense left me no choice but to try something gutsy and racing so clean. If you’re struggling to find an overtake the easy way, you have to spend a moment to observe and figure out where you have the biggest pace difference. The corner in question, turn 10, was where my target’s line was most different to mine, and he was consistently doing it for multiple laps. If I could get close enough, that would be the door I would jump through.
