In this CAD futures (6C) trade breakdown, I walk through how I used top down analysis starting on the monthly timeframe, refining down through the daily for a bias, and then executing on the 1-hour chart. This trade was an overnight swing trade that I placed during the Asia session and took profit in the New York Session. This trade could also have been placed on USDCAD if trading forex instead of currency futures. Using dollar (DXY) analysis I chose Canadian Dollar Futures to execute based off its structure.
