Orange-Vanilla MONKEY BREAD! Deliciously Delightful & Decadent
This is an orange twist on your classic monkey bread recipe...one of the greatest dessert ideas in the universe! This pull apart bread dessert is one that the whole family will devour quickly. If you want to learn how to make monkey bread, then check out this video. I have a regular monkey bread recipe if you're not interested in the orange version. I'll put a link to it below.
Ingredients:
Zest from one orange
1 cup sugar
2 rolls of Grands! buttermilk biscuits
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 sticks butter
Juice from your zested orange
Zest one orange, and mix it with 1 cup of sugar in a large Ziplock bag.
Cut biscuits into sixths and shake it with your zested sugar bag until everything is coated.
Pour biscuits into a buttered bundt pan.
In a small saucepan heat up brown sugar, butter, vanilla, and orange juice until everything is well melted.
Pour your brown sugar mixture into the bundt pan.
Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes.
Remove when the tops of your biscuits are nice and brown.
