In this video, we'll test a budget spot welder purchased on Aliexpress for $15. I tested it by repairing and replacing batteries on a massager I'd had lying around for a while. Surprisingly, spot welding with this soldering iron turned out to be very simple and easy. Just adjust the power setting and apply gentle pressure to avoid burning through the nickel plate.
