Paper Mache Jack 'o Lantern Armature version 2.0 - No Plastic Bags! Pt. 1
In this video I show you how to make an armature for a paper mache jack 'o lantern using cardboard, newspaper, and masking tape. No need to fill a plastic bag with crumbled newspaper using this technique!
Tools & materials: corrugated cardboard, thin flexible cardboard, masking tape, hot glue gun and glue sticks, a marker, a balde, a pair of scissors, and paper mache paste.
Dimensions for the armature that I use in this video: One 6 inch in diameter round piece of carrugated cardboard for the top of the form. One 7and 1/4 inch in diameter round piece of corrugated cardboard for the bottom of the form. Sixteen 1 inch wide x 11 inches long strips of thin flexible cardboard. One cardboard tube cut down to approximately 7 inches long. Newspaper strips that are 1 inches wide.
