apply a quota on a folder in windows server 2008 r2
1. Open server manager
2.Add a role file server resource Manager
3.Go to your data drive and make a folder for sharing
4.Open Administrative tools
5. Go to file server resource manager
6.Right click on quota
7.Create quota
8.Click Define custom quota properties
9. Set your desire limit
10. Select hard or soft quota
11.click ok
12. check your server ip
13. Go to your client machine
14. Make a map drive with that sharing folder
15. Try to move your file in this folder
