This video shows the solution to 2 problems:
1) The problem of reducing the losses introduced by the signal transmission path in the receiving part of the system. This problem is solved by place the mixer closer to the receiving antenna and eliminating the cable (2 m) and the rotating joint from the path of the receiving antenna.
2) Problems of the resulting phase change due to rotation of the mixer strobe feed cable. This problem is solved by using that part of the path (2 m cable and rotating joint), which was excluded from the path of the receiving antenna, to supply the strobe trigger signal.
