Idea 1 New Year's ball with a winter rose DIY
The New Year is coming soon - a holiday of wonders and magic, the warmest family holiday of the year. We start preparing for the New Year at the end of November: buying or making gifts for our loved ones, planning how we will decorate our home, and most importantly - what our New Year tree will look like.
I have prepared and developed 3 ideas for decorating New Year balls for you. Today, we will create a New Year ball with a winter rose (made of foamiran). I will explain in detail how to make a rose out of foamiran: from creating a pattern and modeling petals, to coloring and assembling the flower.
For decorating the ball itself, we will use one-step crackle varnish and patina, as well as decorative elements that I made using molds and self-hardening clay.
I really enjoy the most important stage of the tutorial - assembling the ball, when you see the result that pleases you. By using the techniques I suggest for decorating, you will be able to create your own projects.
