They say there's a complete sense of presence. It's like being a real pilot, only on the ground. The main goal is to finish first without crashing into obstacles. All drones are homemade and require completely manual control; there are no stabilization systems, and there's no chance the drone will return home on its own. Yesterday, 48 pilots trained and qualified, and today they're competing in the final elimination round. If you watch our video and get inspired, know that getting into the hobby requires not only a drone but also goggles, a remote control, batteries—at least five, a charger, and various tools. All of this will cost around $1,000. But enthusiasts say the enjoyment justifies the investment.
