Vyacheslav Nichik is a guitarist, composer, and founder of Shred Method. He creates instrumental music in the rock, metal, and shred guitar genres. He is also the founder of the Shred Method Academy. The first track section is based around the E Dorian mode (E,F#,G,A,B,C,D) with added blue notes to make it more aggressive sometimes known as the E Dorian Blues scale (E,F,G,A,Bb,B,C,D). I used a Major chord harmonised sound on the CD to illustrate that sound should be your only guideline. I thought it sounded good so I used it. I switched scales on the second section to B Harmonic minor based around the tonal centre of F#. This scale is known as F# Spanish Phrygian (F#,G,A,B,C,D,E). Just play the harmonic minor, start and end on the 5th note of the scale and you will sound like you are playing in the Sahara desert.
