My top 7 (and a half) Adobe Illustrator tips to help speed up your workflow and processes!

How to:
1. White canvas - Illustrator, preferences, user interface, canvas colour - white
2. Trim view - View, trim view
3. Paste in place - Command C + Command F / Control C + Control F (Windows)
4. Transform again - Command D / Control D (Windows)
5. Name artboards for exporting - In artboards, double click
6. Split up into grid - (with shape selected) object, path, split up into grid
7. Clipping mask - right click, clipping mask
7b. Alpha mask - (In transparency panel), make mask
