Olympic Sinks the U-103 - May 12th, 1918
107 years ago, on her 22nd troop voyage, HMT Olympic was entering the English Channel with an escort of American destroyers when she spotted the surfaced U-103 Submarine. Olympic turned hard to port and rammed the submarine, killing 9 of the 44 crew and disabling the U-Boat, which was eventually scuttled by her own Captain.
