hardware modding this so that instead of it being a split stereo line in channel to a mono one channel input for easier use and no after processing on mic in software
so all this was caused when the new windows 10 1803 became available , yes it messed my 19 year old sound card up and yes it was just the excuse i needed to finally get it replaced . :)
