500 g mushrooms
2 tsp (10 ml) vegetable oil
20 g butter
3 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
1 tsp (5 ml) soy sauce (optional)
A pinch of salt and pepper
Fresh parsley (finely chopped)

How to make the best pan-fried garlic mushrooms!

Heat the pan: First, heat the vegetable oil and butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. The combination of oil and butter is the secret to high-heat frying without burning anything.
Fry the mushrooms: Add the fresh mushrooms to the hot pan. Fry the mushrooms for about 6–8 minutes. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan so the mushrooms develop a perfect golden-brown crust instead of steaming in their own juices.
