Soundcool 10th anniversary
Felicità and the pack, against bullying & harassment
Feb. 19, 10:00 am, and 12:00 noon
IES No 26 Misericordia Valencia (Spain)
C/ Casa de la Misericordia, 34, Valencia (Spain)
As part of the celebrations of Soundcool's 10th anniversary, on Monday, February 19, the opera “Felicità y la Jauría” will be performed, a collaborative, inter-institutional, pedagogical-didactic, social, interdisciplinary and inclusive project around bullying.
Location: deconsecrated chapel of the IES Misericordia de València, a center attended by 2,000 secondary, high school and training cycle students.
This work in 3 acts, in the form of a performance, presents harassment from various perspectives, subsequently carrying out a dynamic with the public for awareness and prevention against harassment.
During the three acts of the play, two main characters will represent scenes with everyday situations of harassment. These characters will evolve during the course of the play, changing roles and creating the so-called 360º circle of harassment, where the harassed person ends up being the harasser if they do not manage to break the dynamic. Furthermore, the harmful role of the "pack" is highlighted, which represents those people who not only do nothing to avoid the harassment situation, but also join together by participating in it. The 3 acts are about:
1. Bullying and cyberbullying
2. Real estate harassment and sexual exploitation
3. Financial harassment
The performance of "Felicità y la Jauría" is the work of its Soundcool management team: Nuria Lloret, Jorge Sastre, Roger Dannenberg and Stefano Scarani, together with Idoia Uribarri.
The representation is co-financed by the Cultural Proposals program for Art, Science, Technology and Society of the Cultural Action Area (PC_ACTS) and a Research and Educational Innovation project of the Department of Education, Universities and Occupation of the Generalitat Valenciana of the IES nº 26 Misericordia directed by Alexis Calvo, and is a collaboration of the atenea.in project "Women in Arts, Technology and Science" directed by Nuria Lloret, the MEVArt cycle of Electronic Music and Video Art, the Cultural Association Ap-art, the Association in Clau d'Art, the SOXXI Project, the Nacho Duato Higher Conservatory of Dance of Valencia, and the Creared Escena Research Group.
